Introducing our Penne alla Boscaiola pasta sauce!

 

Made with naturally grown and locally sourced ingredients our 10-minute Boscaiola sauce is a healthy alternative to fast food. 

 

All ingredients are grown and harvested in South Africa from local farms and then dried to perfection. This delicious and healthy sauce has a truly Italian taste but is very much South African. 

 

Preparation:

One pot of salted water for the pasta: 

Bring your water to the boil and add the pasta. Cook for 2-3 minutes before removing some of the water for the sauce. Cook until al dente and strain. 

One small pot for the sauce:

Cover the bottom of the pan with a thin layer of olive oil, add the sauce mix (two tablespoons per portion) and some of the pasta water (8 tablespoons per portion). Stir and bring to a simmer, allowing the sauce to simmer until the pasta is cooked. 

 

Add drained pasta to the sauce, mix and spinkle cheese on top. Buon appetito!
